Supervisory-level Occupational Safety Officer Course

     The “Supervisory-level Occupational Safety Officer” training course is aimed at personnel working in supervisory roles as they assist, advise, and oversee operation personnel in the organization. They play an important role in implementing occupational safety policies to protect personnel. This training course will help supervisors understand the principles of safety operations as well as the activities needed to achieve occupational safety. The trainees will be able to apply the knowledge they gain to boost occupational safety in their workplaces. More importantly, the supervisors will gain an understanding of their roles and responsibilities related to safety operations are an important element in successful overall organizational safety management. Objectives

• To educate trainees about the labor laws related to occupational safety, health, and workplace environment, as well as other relevant laws which are the basis of organizational safety operations.
• To equip trainees with the basic knowledge and understanding of occupational safety principles; occupational safety, health, and workplace environment laws; identifying danger; as well as preventing and containing work hazards.
• To cultivate understanding and awareness of the supervisor’s role and responsibilities as a supervisory-level occupational safety officer whose role is important to the implementation of occupational safety policies in individual work units or overall organization.
