Elevating Chemical Laboratory Safety Standards Training
The training regarding chemical laboratory safety standards in accordance with Enhancement of Safety Practice of Research Laboratory in Thailand (ESPReL) aims to ensure effective safety operations in science laboratories and also meet the policies of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). It is also meant to allow participants to apply the knowledge gained from the course to improving the safety of their own facilities to eventually render a culture of safety for science labs.
Objectives
- To educate participants on Mahidol University’s safety policies and guidelines.
- To inform participants of the Enhancement of Safety Practice of Research Laboratory in Thailand (ESPReL) standards.
- To enable participants to apply the training knowledge to upgrade their labs in accordance with safety standards.
- To ensure participants know and understand warning signs or symbols on chemical labels so that they can select the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Target Group:
Mahidol University lecturers, researchers, and personnel who work in science laboratories.
