Technical-level Occupational Safety Officer Course

      The “Technical-level Occupational Safety Officer” training course enables those working as technical-level occupational safety officers to understand their role and responsibilities and manage occupational safety, health, and work environment operations correctly, appropriately, and effectively. This is also in line with the Ministerial Regulation on the Prescribing of Standard for the Administration and Management of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment B.E. 2549 (A.D. 2006) under the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Act B.E. 2554 (A.D. 2011) which calls for workplaces involving manufacturing, construction, and transportation, and also petrol stations with 20 to 50 employees, to appoint full-time technical-level safety officers to carry out safety operations of no less than one hour a day.


Objectives

  • To educate trainees on occupational safety management and occupational safety, health, and workplace environment laws.
  • To enable trainees to fulfill their roles and duties as occupational safety officers at the technical level.
  • To enable trainees to analyze work to identify danger, and practice prevention and control of hazards to effectively conduct occupational safety, health and workplace environment operations.

Target Group:

      Occupational safety officers at the supervisory level who have successfully completed the Supervisory-level Occupational Safety Officer Course.

Training Format:

      Lecture-based and practice (on-site/online)

Training Duration:

      Three days (18 hours)
